10/30/22 Orks and Tyranids

Good news everyone! You may stop hearing about Orks constantly for a hot minute, as we have finished the 2.0 rough draft for them! We believe this will give a better tabletop representation of their ramshackle hordes on the table with sketchy but affordable vehicles spread all over the place! While there will no doubt be rule refining in their near future, they are in a much better place!

Tyranids final draft has started! We are currently going over Hive Fleet rules and making sure the concepts we wanted to achieve are intact. We are doing our last minute polish and clean up on the rough draft and should be able to start in earnest very soon!

Imperial Guard received a default loadout correction on the Destroyer Squadron and a spacing issue in the Fortifications section. If you spot anything out of place like this, please reach out to us through our various channels! I am not a professional editor and am not exempt from mistakes.

Lastly we were able to shoot a very fast passed Battle Report during this last week on a surprise game day! We decided to stress test the Gorgon Tyranid Hive Fleet rules vs the Praetorian Guard. The Praetorian Guard did not get to test their Regiment rules, as rerolling Charge rolls is quite nice but while running into Tyranid life forms in Melee is bad enough on its own, Gorgon Bleed a Corrosive Blood on you when you Wound them successfully in Melee. Holding the line with crisp disciplined las fire was far more prudent.
