11/20/22 Tyranids and Space Marines

It was a very exciting week! We got the Tyranids Codex Final Draft posted on our rules page! We are super excited to share this and cannot wait to answer any questions you may have.

We have begun polishing work on the Space Marines Rough Draft. I have taken over the final stages of the Rough Draft and have already made it through Troop, Elite, and Fast Attack Slots. We believe we have reached an excellent point of balance between Primaris and First Born marines and are eager to cement their roles with a clearly defined codex!

We have also begun introducing a new rule to replace the outdated Slow and Purposeful rule that was imported. A new player asked the pertinent question of “Why does it not work more like this?” The answer? It has always been that way, so we did not think about it until now. Steady is being tested on the back end of the system. It allows a model to Declare Charges regardless of weapons fired, but caps the maximum Charge Distance that can be moved at 8″. This is intended for visually slow and stompy models that would be quite able to fire while bearing down on an enemy unit. This will only be implemented on a “as tested” basis to models that visually show a “steady” or brutal advance that is slow.

As always, we have had some minor updates to existing rulebooks. Voidshield cost was adjusted for the Capital Imperialis in the Imperial Guard Codex, a minor correction was made to the Mawloc, and some wording was clarified throughout.

As always, we look forward to your feedback and hearing about your tabletop destruction!
