We have had another busy week! Alex has continued to belt out a series of Custode play tests and we are beginning prep work for a Final Draft write up! We started looking at Shield Hosts and are implementing some tests for applying these rules in new fashion that should help maintain the elite nature of the Emperor’s last line of defense!
Jordan has broke out the classic Genestealer Cult again and we had a great play tests! From the sounds of it the battle went really well for a second play test. We have implemented several changes that give several advisors a more specialist role that is felt across the battlefield, increases the Genestealer Cult’s ability control the opponents decisions, and by happen stance reduced the cost of almost all HQ and Advisors! I am super stoked to see them take to the field again. They play similar to Eldar, but with their own sinister twist!
Orks continue to get play tests in as well! The Stompa has been fielded several more times. This is crucial as it is the biggest model to date to be fielded and is helping us determine the far reaching ends of the Titanic Formulas to see if the cost plateau truly continues within the acceptable .3 wound efficiency margin or if the scale needs to be adjusted further down the line.
Speaking of large Titanic models, the Leviathan Regimental HQ is getting very close to complete! There are only three track housing sections, two Lascannon towers, the six Twin Linked Lascannons, two command tower sections, some Pins, and the Mega Battle Cannon left to print! While still going to be a week or two of printing, it is so close my Guardsmen can feel the upper brass staring at them already! I just used up my sixth roll of filament. Two more should do it!
Last few notes, Necrons had some wording shortened. Objective Markers keyword replaced Objectives regarding Dynasty rules to clarify that models can still accomplish Objectives, but maybe not claim the Markers on the field.
