In news for rules, Space Marines are continuing to be transcribed to the Final Draft format. So far generic Troops, Elites, and most of Fast Attack have been combed over and added. The majority of the generic units and characters have been tested. Stress testing unit combinations is under way, with Chapter rules, Characters, and units soon to follow! It is a large codex, so bare with us as we try to make it a polished work for you to enjoy and explore!
Chaos had some light revisions and weapons added that had been missed for the Eightbound and Exalted Eightbound. The Spells for the Hereticus spell line have been reworked! The others will follow suit in do time as we slowly work them along to perfection as well.
This morning the final piece for the Leviathan Regimental HQ finished! This incredibly long print took nine rolls of filament. Total print time was 560 hours and 48 minutes over the course of four months! As soon as I get the last piece cleaned up and the command tower assembled, expect to be bombarded with pictures! Painting this is going to take a while, but it should be fun!
Lots of stress testing with this model will take place as it is twice the Wound count of the largest model tested yet. Perhaps once we get it on the field, a further stat line rework will need to happen. I can already tell it will need a rule to limit its pivot distance to its maximum M. This would not eat any available movement, but keep it from doing doughnuts and destroying the entire map. It also should have the Cause Panic rule large Titan units have as it is enormous! Main concern is can a balanced army still when in victory points, and can a dedicated titan hunting army kill it in the allotted time for a game?
Lots of slow monotonous paperwork to get everything presentable on my end, but getting to share it will be worth it! Alex, Jordan, Travis, and Charles have been instrumental in play testing the rules so a big shout out to them! As always we appreciate your feedback and look forward to getting one of the largest and most influential codexes published for your games!
