This week was excellent! We completed the Ork Codex and got it live on the website! The Ork Clan rules are a polishing touch still going through testing like normal at this stage for a Final Draft, but it is considered tournament competitive at this point. As always, if you notice any typos or complicated wording please let me know so I can get this addressed. There are many Codexes I am working on (12 left) as well as supplements as needed for the bloated ones. If there is an editor out there willing to help comb over the rule books we would greatly appreciate it!
Next target Codex is the Squats. With six down and twelve to go, we are eager to see this one out next! This one was complicated due to how long it has been since there has been official lore released for them. Combined with the usual “new toys are stronger than they should be” syndrome GW suffers from, we are on our third rebuild of this Codex to find the balance they should have both on the table and in their lore. We are very confident with this third rebuild and hope to have it presented soon!
One of the things about this codex that will excite newer players that have joined League of Votann will find that we are including the old units that we have been able to find records of. This includes Epic 40k, with titanic units such as their version of the Imperial Guard Leviathan Regimental HQ and the famous Squat Land Train. We are working on the final touches for these massive Lords of War and hope you enjoy slaughtering the enemies of the Leagues!
