Its that time of the week again folks! This time its a much shorter summary. We are back logged on play testing for confirmation as usual but we have Nurgle setup in Final Draft format! They have had a fair amount of testing already and just need some last confirmations before we give it the stamp of tournament worthy and publish it!
Of course if someone wants early access it can be provided upon request. We will naturally try to get it play tested and produced as soon as possible!
I have started work on Tzeentch’s forces. They also have had some play tests already (which lead us to Final Draft format). Where as Nurgle is massively defensive, Tzeentch brings a nice balance between defense and utility. Their spells and abilities mess with the opponent’s forces quite a bit and they bring levels of change to the battlefield. Whether it be turning an enemy Independent Character to a Chaos Spawn, or watching your Horrors keep splitting into more and more units in an explosive spread across the field, Tzeentch is sure to keep the game entertaining and unexpected with sudden changes.
To date we are pending final tests for Squats and Dark Eldar. Further tests and Final Draft formats that are ready to test are Imperial Knights, Chaos Undivided, Khorne, and Nurgle. We have ironed out the formula a long time ago and are now smoothly able to apply army concepts and internal balance very efficiently which is drastically reducing Research and Development time. Given that we will hit 3300 man hours this week, any respite is a welcome one.
So much paperwork. So much lore reading. It is super exciting to realize how fast paced the project is moving along now!
Lastly, its getting cold out. Just as a reminder if you want to have models to paint during the winter you may want to get your primer game on! If you are like me and do not have a good way to store curing models during the cold so it sets correctly now is the time!
