11/5/23 Tzeentch and the almighty Capitol Imperialis

>>Requisition request from Ursula Creed. Requesting favour of Belisarius Cawl.
>> What is the request, he is very busy.
>>Requesting construction of Capitol Imperialis for Daddy I mean Ursarkar Creed.
>>Lord Creed, Emperor rest is name, is MIA.
>>I believe the ancient pattern signal array is strong enough to find him. Rumor has it he was taken by Trazyn the Infinite.
>>The proximity would have to be close. The galaxy is a big place, the the construction yards are already behind quota.
>>Trazyn has been spotted numerous times on Valour IX. You have an Enginseer on the inside, last seen inside the Tomb World disguised as a Flayed One. We get regular reports. He strongly believes that Lord Creed and other VIPs are present there, or can be accessed from there. He was not particularly clear.
>>Please hold…….
9 hours later
>>Requisition is granted. Construction has begun. Estimated time of production on Mars is one year. Twelve construction yards have been diverted to this as a priority project. The Emperor Protects.
>>The Emperor Protects.
>>By the way, Cawl called dibs on any xeno tech recovered as part of this favor.

Its that time of week again! Well a day short but I won’t tell if you won’t. Update for chaos is that Tzeentch is fully ready in Final Draft format for its last stage testing before being published! I am now working on Slaanesh, followed by Traitor Guard. Chaos Knights will come later once Imperial Knights have their bugs and kinks worked out (hence the help of Slaanesh).

Tzeentch brings a 5+ Invulnerability Save to their units. If the unit already had a 5+ Invulnerability Save, it goes to a 4+ Instead. If they already had a 4+ (mostly HQ slots), they may reroll 1s for Invulnerability Saves instead. That makes them very defensive!

If a unit takes the Pure Blessing of Tzeentch, they ignore the first Wound they suffer each phase! If a hit would cause multiple Wounds (such as Monsterbane or a Vehicle Penetration), only one of the Wounds is ignored.

To the more exciting stage. I have my 3d printer back online! I printed the first piece of the track for the legendary Capitol Imperialis. Took 39 hours and 42 minutes. There are 14 pieces per track housing. Needless to say this is going to take awhile! As the rolls get to low to do the next massive piece, I will be printing other units that came with the STL bundle. Right now I’m testing my print settings and making adjustments using the Leman Russ. With new Cura updates my settings got a bit thrown off. Its not as bad as it looks in the pictures, but I fixed a few surface issues with air dry clay. Looks like I’ve got the settings dialed back in already, and I’m excited to begin transporting my Cadian Baneblade Company in style! (Not to be confused with my Cadian Recon Baneblade Company, that would be just silly to carry them around instead of letting them scout ahead!).

As I go along I plan on installing lights. I’m sure there will be trial and error but the interior is mostly detailed except some rooms from the looks of it. Wherever possible lights will be installed, particularly in the Command Room. I’m looking forward to setting it up with a full command staff. My painting skills may not be the best but it will be hard to see detail through the windows so I should be safe.

Lastly, I’m hoping to get the final test of the Dark Eldar Codex completed this upcoming weekend. If all goes well, we will see it live very soon!

Happy wargaming and my the God Emperor have mercy on my foes for I shall have none. Ok maybe not for up to a year or so depending on how long these prints are going to take with just one printer and disposable income for PLA.
