3/6/25 Core Rulebook Revamp

I think we are just about settled into the house! That being said, the project is so far along that with waiting on play tests exclusively our weekly newsletter will probably be turning into an “as released” letter.

Regardless, the core rulebook has been massively updated based on community feedback! More technical wording on some rule interactions for those who are not familiar with the old rules A4R is grounded in, lots of additions to the index, and a whole bunch of Q&A additions to help out.

A lot of feedback went into this revamp to ensure its as easy to follow as possible. This particular letter is short, but we did get a great game in with chaos and combined with the new Slaanesh supplement about to drop we will be pushing out a massive chaos update soon!

As far as the last battle goes, I am working on three styles of battle reports. I am excited to see what people prefer!

First to get released will probably be the typical narrative one with pictures from key moments in the game like I usually do.

The next to release will be a near full length video with some special effects. This is going to take a long time, so bear with me as I work on it.

Lastly, I want to try my hand at making a documentary/debriefing style report. I will use the full-length video, cutting out everything but the action shots. In between each cut will be an interview portion with a poor attempt at cosplay to make it more immersive. I’ve seen gamers do this with the players discussing their strategies and goals, but wouldn’t it be cooler if it were immersive? We will find out! If it’s terrible I won’t do it again, but it sounds like fun.

Happy wargaming! Please continue to give feedback with the books so I can correct things!
