4/1/26 PSA for Warmer Temperatures and Goals

Sorry it has been a bit everyone! Life has been busy, the electrical work on the house slow, and finding time to do the last play tests difficult.

PSA
This is just a friendly reminder that as temperatures heat up again to be careful about leaving miniatures in the car. Cast and 3d printed resin, FDM printed, and clear coated miniatures are the first to be at risk. Heat can warp them or in the case of clear coats make them tacky, which can adhere to protective foam trays.

Direct sunlight of course is worse than indirect. If possible, keep cases covered or take them inside during the day.

This won’t become critical until summertime of course, but I know some players that get comfortable leaving them in cars during the cooler months and forget. You know who you are!

A4R Road Map
But that’s all boring stuff. The current road map for A4R to be caught up is:
1) Eldar: The complete rebuild from the ground up is nearly complete! There are still broken and redundant unit roles to balance but I promise we are finally nearly done!
2) Tau: Vespid Kill Team, Kroot Kill Team, and some 4e Traitor Guard supplements need added. I’ve just been tied up with Eldar.
3) Traitor Knights: Just need to decide which path to go regarding Chaos Marks. We have two really good options. Traditional verses their own variant.
4) Sisters of Battle: It is a small Codex. Some players are helping us test! You guys rock. As soon as I get some more feedback they are going to go live.
5) Inquisition: They are waiting on Sisters at this point and a stress test of Assassins in the Lord of War Slot.
6) Custodes: Need a test to verify a slight tweak to their Monstrous Infantry and bigger.
7) Do a round of updates for models that released semi recently. This part will be MUCH easier once there is nothing to do except the occasional tweak and whatever is coming out next.

Original Game Release
If you are in the Southwest Missouri area, you will be able to catch a streamlined demo at Tremendicon in Springfield! I have applied for a table to do limited demos of the L&T, an original game I have been assisting with. I haven’t got a confirmed table time yet, but I applied for Friday-Sunday all day. This game will be in the works for about 3 years by then, with me helping for 2.

It is 40$ to get in at the door, or 30$ if you preorder passes online for the convention. More details will be posted as soon as I can confirm times I will be there and what you can expect to see. There are a variety of games, cosplay, and all sorts of things to check out so come on down!
