Vostroyan Firstborn Showcase

Vostroyans are unique in that they are some of the few guardsman in the galaxy anyone cares about. Because of the purposeful blindness of the Vostroyan administration during the Horus Heresy in the Imperium’s time of need, they are now consigned to sending every firstborn male to battle, never to return. As such fathers make and craft the finest wargear a guardsman could hope to have. To demonstrate this, I felt they should have priority on rare and ancient plasma weapons like the Leman Russ Executioner. They also have very unique lasguns that no other models have ever received.

My Vostroyans are themed to be in Golgatha, the Valley of Skulls on Valour Prime. Ash fallout from the neighboring volcanic region occupied by the Elysians is raining down from their eruptions that recently happened.

These Executioners are old but well maintained for serving their beloved sons.

Dismounted tank crews were formed into an adhoc Stormtrooper unit after dismantling an enemy supply depot despite their tanks being knocked out of action. With the intense fighting on Valour Prime, replacement tanks are not always available.

The Banehammer serves to slow enemy troops down while their long ranged lasguns can pick them off from a safe distance.

The firing deck is beginning to fill with ash, but they can still fight with their respirators if it gets bad.

An old Mars pattern Baneblade is the crown jewel of their armoury, and forms a strong bulwark of fire for their lines.

A skull wall was found by this mortar crew. Using the superstitious nature of the Orks against them, they manned the wall to rain death upon them.

A humble collection, but a very detailed one to be sure.
